MoneyNote is designed to be a private-first application. By default, all your financial notebooks and entries are stored locally on your device. We do not collect or store your personal financial data on our servers unless you explicitly enable Cloud Sync.
If you choose to enable synchronization across devices, your data is securely stored using Google Firebase. This data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We do not have access to decrypt or read your specific financial entries.
MoneyNote allows you to secure your data using FaceID, TouchID, or Fingerprint authentication. We do not collect, store, or have access to your biometric data. The authentication process is handled entirely by your device's operating system.
We use anonymous analytics (via Firebase Analytics and PostHog) to understand how the app is used and to improve performance. This data does not include any personal information or financial details.
