Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using TaskTimer you agree to these terms. If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where they conflict, Apple's EULA wins.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use TaskTimer on devices you own or control. You may not decompile, reverse engineer or redistribute the app.

3. What TaskTimer is (and isn't)

TaskTimer is a productivity tool that times focus and rest periods and reminds you about tasks. It is not a medical device and its break reminders are not health advice. Reminders depend on your device's notification settings, battery-saving modes and operating system, so we can't guarantee they arrive at an exact time.

4. Your data

Your tasks and settings are stored on your device and are your responsibility. We are not liable for data lost because of device failure, uninstalling the app or losing your device.

5. TaskTimer Pro and points

  • TaskTimer Pro is a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited tasks, task details, ticket links and Jira import on the store account that bought it. Use Restore Purchases to unlock it again after reinstalling or on another device with the same store account.
  • Point packs are consumable: points are added once and are spent in the in-app shops. Points have no cash value and can't be transferred or refunded by us.
  • All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms and refund policies.

6. Third-party services

Jira is a product of Atlassian. Connecting it is optional and your use of Jira is governed by your agreement with Atlassian. We are not affiliated with Atlassian.

7. Disclaimer and liability

TaskTimer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Kynetics BSD is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the app.
